Merton School Sports Partnership (MSSP) is looking for a number of enthusiastic and professional UKCC Level 2 (as a minimal requirement) qualified self-employed coaches/ teachers to work across their primary schools in a variety of different sports within their Merton Inspire & Educate PE brand. 

Enhanced DBS clearance will be required for this service provider. Applicants will be self-employed and hold their own public liability insurance.

Supplying your services on behalf of MSSP and Merton Inspire & Educate PE you will provide the schools with high quality sports coaching. This may include curriculum delivery during the school day, supporting class teachers through 1-2-1 development sessions and running extra-curricular sports clubs. The remit may also include supporting teacher training, talent squads, leadership programmes, competitive events and festivals.

Coaches should be confident to deliver to Key Stage 1 and 2 pupils of mixed ability in at least one area of the PE National Curriculum.

Working hours and days will be negotiable and may vary. There may be an opportunity for up to 40 hours per week for suitable candidates that meet all of the requirements. Payment rate is competitive, with the day rates starting from £100. We are committed to supporting the training and development of the coaches we work with to ensure our schools receive a high standard of provision. Many of our service providers have delivered for MSSP for a number of years which illustrates this two-way commitment.
