Year 7-11 Girls and Boys Orienteering Festival open to all secondary schools in the Borough. Hosted at Wimbledon Park throughout the day
Teams
Schools can bring an
A – Performance Team and a
B – Participation Team
Teams are single gender - boys or girls
Mixed Schools can bring 2 boys and 2 girls teams
Teams must consist of:
2 x Yr 7
2 x Yr 8
2 x Yr 9
2 x Yr 10/11

Teams will be taught how to use the map and equipment
Warm Up / Practice

Competition
· Score Event – Teams will have to work together to decide who races to which control and get back within the time limit. Fastest team to finish will win.
· A and B teams will have a separate competition.
· The event shouldn’t take longer than 1hr 30mins.
· Please do not be late or you will lose your slot and may have to wait until the end.
