Year 3/4 Mixed Key Steps Gymnastics Festival open to all primary schools in the borough. Hosted at Canons from 1-3pm
The new Yr 3/4 mixed Key Steps Gymnastics Competition is taking place on 10th March 2010 at Canons LC 1 – 3pm.
There are only 8 places this year for schools so you will need to enter online asap to get a space.
This event is a mixed gender event. A team must consist of a maximum of 6 and minimum of 4 competitors, four gymnasts will compete in each section, 2 Boys and 2 Girls.

All schools which enter the competition will receive a free resource for Key Steps and a free place for 2 teachers on our Key Steps inset. The inset will help you plan afterschool club sessions to prepare your team for the competition.
The winning school will be asked to represent Merton in the London Wide Schools Final which will be on at the Mini Games event in July.
Key Steps involves very basic floor routines and vaulting suitable for novices. The competition is not open to current competitive club level gymnasts.
The Merton Gym Club, based at Canons will be supporting the event and hope to attract some new members during the competition.
