On 24th June, Bishopsford Arts College hosted the annual Year 3 & 4 Football Tournament for the Merton Partnership.

A very warm morning saw 6 schools competing for the coveted ‘Bishopsford Football Trophy,’ and despite the warm conditions, all participants played extremely well for the best part of two hours.

Each school played 5 matches, each of 10 minutes and the Bishopsford Sports Leadership students were able referees.

The games were played in the right spirit and all teams were competitive. Goals were flying in at all angles and the standard of play was, at times, exceptional!
