The Roehampton University Consortium
for PE Continuing Professional Development
There are many opportunities to participate in teacher and coach training and development within Merton School Sport Partnership. In order to offer high quality experiences and a diverse range of courses and experiences, we work in closely with Roehampton University and form part of a very successful Professional Development Consortium.
The Consortium is managed by Roehampton University and consists of 8 London Local Authorities – Croydon, Kensington & Chelsea, Kingston, Lambeth, Merton, Sutton, Southwark and Wandsworth. It was set up to provide support for secondary and primary school teachers in the delivery of high quality Physical Education.
Steve Day, MSSP’s Partnership Development Manager, sits on the Consortium Steering Group to ensure Merton is represented in planning for training courses and to provide a strategic overview of the needs of schools and teachers.
All the information that you require can be accessed through the PE Partners Website, please click here to access the website. Schools need to register and once registered, any teacher or school may access any of the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) opportunities offered across the Consortium.
