On Thursday 27th November 2014, Ursuline High School hosted the MSSP Year 7/8/9 Girls Badminton Finals. The event took place in a round robin format with Ricards Lodge entering three teams and Ursuline entering one team. Each match consisted of five games (2 singles games and 3 doubles games). This emphasised the importance of each individual performance which contributed to a combined team result.
On Friday 21st November 2014, Raynes Park High School hosted the MSSP Year 8/9 Boys Basketball Finals. Six teams entered the competition with Rutlish entering two sides and one team apiece from Raynes Park, Harris Academy Merton, Harris Academy Morden and Wimbledon College.
MSSP Year 7/8/9 Boys Table Tennis Finals
On Tuesday 21st October 2014, St Marks CE Academy hosted the MSSP Year 7/8/9 Boys Table Tennis Finals. Twelve teams competed for the prized position of representing Merton at the South London Finals. Each team consisted of four players, with the players being seeded from 1-4.
MSSP Year 10/11 Boys Basketball Finals
Raynes Park High School was host to the MSSP year 10/11 boys basketball finals on 26/09/14. The competition was a great success, much to the help of Mr Hayes, Mr Martin and the Sixth Form students at Raynes Park High School who superbly organised and ran the competition.
On Tuesday 17th June 2014, the Merton School Sport Partnership year 7 girls Rounders tournament took place at Raynes Park High School Sports Ground. This competition was really well attended this year with 8 teams entering. These teams were:

Merton were strongly represented at the 2014 London Youth Games Finals with the winners of MSSP Finals representing the Borough.
The London Youth Games is an annual multi-sport event contested between the 32 London Boroughs. The prestigious event offers competitive opportunities for young participants aged 7 to 18 across 30 sports. The event has been the starting point for some of Great Britains finest athletes including Double Olympic Medallist Mo Farah who took part in the event when he was in school.
The MSSP Hi 5 Netball Finals took place on Friday 7th March at Wimbledon High.
With the top four teams from each cluster competiting, the standard was guarenteed to be high! Teams had been training hard, all with an eye on the Borough trophy!!
The tournament was split into a group stage followed by quarter finals, semi finals and finals. It was crucial for teams to be consistant throughout and to get the all important wins!
On a blustery but thankfully dry Thursday morning, 16 of the best tag rugby teams from across the borough gathered for the annual MSSP finals at Tooting and Mitcham Football Club. Luckily, for all concerned, the rain held off for the most part of the day which ensured the highest quality tag rugby was on show. The top 4 teams from each cluster within the borough qualified for this event. The competition got under way on time and was refereed brilliantly by 5 young sports leaders from Rutlish School. Since the qualifying cluster rounds all the teams knew that they had to train hard if they wanted to have a chance of winning the Y5/6 Best Team Football Borough Finals. Lots of fixtures were organised throughout the borough to build on their team’s experience.
The MSSP Year 5/6 Girls Football Finals took place on Thursday 28th November at Goals Soccer Centre.
The top 4 teams from each cluster qualified for what turned out to be a highly competitive, close run contest. The teams were divided into 4 pools of 4 and seeded according to their position in the cluster round of the competition. The teams were then seeded again on their performances in the round robin pool stage.
