From the league results all teams were then placed into a play-off between the other teams that finished in the same place to determine an overall position. The final’s play-off pitch demonstrated some great tactical play and disciplined teams. Sacred Heart had some great hitters, Bishop Gilpin had a great bowler but Poplar fielded and batted well throughout the tournament which gave them the overall edge on all the other teams. Congratulations to Poplar for winning the tournament undefeated, tallying up 50 rounders throughout the tournament!

Well done to all the teams that took part, it showed that teams had practiced and knew the rules prior to the competition which is great to see.
