The Merton School Sport Partnership held its first Year 3 & 4 Quadkids Competition Wednesday 13th July 2016 at St Teresa's Primary School. 4 schools took part in the athletics event which included both track and field events. All the schools were buzzing with excitement as they turned up, and were very keen to start the competition.

The events were very exciting from start to finish and we saw some great quality performances from many of the athletes. All the teams worked hard especially in the relay races which were amazing to spectate. Some close races included: Year 4 boys relay and the Year 4 girls 70m sprint.

As the events came to an end both St Teresa’s and Abbotsbury looked the favourites winning the majority of their events. In the end the overall winners was St Teresa’s with 207 points and were crowned the Morden Cluster QuadKids Year 3&4 Champions 2016!

Thank you to all the teams that took part the attitude and sportsmanship of all the teams was excellent. Also a big thank you to St Teresa's for hosting the event and providing us with their brilliant sports leaders who helped officiate all the event we are looking forward to next year’s competition.
